A Gewehr 1888 (Gew 88) in 7.92x57mm (8x57mm or 8mm Mauser) in very good condition for its age. The Gew 88 is commonly called the Model 1888 commission rifle. This rifle is made by Loewe Berlin in 1891. This rifle is classed as very good, especially considering its age, the metal work is in very good condition althought the serial number on the bolt does not match the action. Wooden stock does show the marks of its age.
