I Am A Deer Hunter Childrens Book

 I AM A DEER HUNTER

An action-packed and emotionally driven bush poem about a hunter pursuing wild deer in the mountains.

My body freezes before my mind can catch up.
There he was sleeping but now is abrupt.
The creature jumps up with a nasty Bark!
As I shoulder my rifle, eyes searching the mark.

This book offers a glimpse into the deep pride and connection felt by hunters for their way of life, reinforcing hunting culture by focusing on food, adventure and respect for the natural world.
